Happy First Birthday, Ethan!
A big thank-you to all who celebrated with us! (The picture below is just a random sampling.)
And thank-you for all of the gifts! We nearly died of oxygen deprivation blowing up the pool, but Zaccheus was very grateful to finally have a place to cool off this summer.
Along with turning one, Ethan's hit some other big milestones. Like having his first carpet burn. You haven't lived until you've had your head dragged along the rug, peeling off a few layers of skin. I can't imagine how it must have happened.
Ethan started walking around 10 months old, but I've been too busy chasing to get pictures up. It's like a whale chasing a squirrel at this point.
We've had fewer and fewer bottles to clean as we transition into sippy cups. Not much of an improvement for quantity of little parts to wash, but Ethan seems pretty happy with his colorful new cups.

Even though he's a whole one year old now, our little baby still makes an appearance now and then.
