August 21 is Ethan's 3 month birthday. Do we celebrate each and every month, you ask? Why yes, indeed. Usually it's just me eating whatever sweety thing I can find in order to properly celebrate our son. And it can be on his month-birthday or not. And it can be multiple times per day, or not. And usually I don't mention it to Josh, who thinks sugar is the devil. And, with my dysfunctional ability to metabolize sugar, he's probably right.

Just in time for his quarter-year birthday, Ethan sprouted some hair! You can see it if you look closely. Ch-ch-ch-chia!


Since Ethan's been doing the same things he's been doing and there's only so many pictures you can post of the same face, here's a little video for your viewing pleasure. Near the end, Ethan pulls his signature frowny face. It's really unfortunate for him that I think his frowny face is the cutest little thing I've ever seen. In fact, I am deliberately slow in fixing whatever is causing his sadness just so I can see more of it. Mean? Eh, what can you do.
