Over halfway there!

Welcome to yet another baby blog!

We are officially over halfway to the due date. So far this pregnancy has been very smooth. I've had a few cravings: cheese and milk first, then french dressing for a week, pickles the next, ranch dressing after that and currently, anything sweet. I'm not uncomfortable in the least, minus a few hip joint issues, but I've been very blessed overall. Josh claims that I'm a little more moody, but I kicked him and told him to shut his yapper. :-)

I can feel the baby move everyday, usually when I finally sit down to rest. When I eat sugar, the baby seems to move with more fervor, probably inherited that response from me. I felt hiccups a few times I think. Either that, or Baby Hull likes to tap a natural rhythm. I'm guessing hiccups.

Baby H measured right about average for weight and height but I'm starting to get concerned that the genetic inheritance this child seems destined for will mean torturous pain for me. Since my sisters delivered early and historically, whatever they do I inevitably do different, this child will probably be 2 weeks late and 13 pounds. Mercy.

There's really not much that will happen between now and May, except for aforementioned growth of child. No more ultrasounds are scheduled unless an unforeseen issue arises, so it will just be belly shots and updates, Lord willing!
