The likes of Ethan

Ethan loves a good cupboard to open and destroy.


Same goes for the recycling bag.


He loves a good tickle from Daddy.


And climbing on (and destroying) anything he can find, including overflowing laundry baskets (is there any other kind?).


Ethan really likes Evie (who wouldn't?).


Ethan loves to say "all done" in sign language, after he's thrown most of his food to the floor (he likes to go back later and scavenge for leftovers that the broom misses. Hard cheese is still good cheese, apparently).


Ethan has never seen it, but WE really love the gap in his teeth (and are figuring out how to save the thousands of dollars destined to line the pockets of the orthodontist).


Ethan really likes to drum. Particularly with the wooden spoon, the remote, the lego, the book, the phone...


He loves to hang upside down.


And he loves the bathtub. Lately, he's been drinking the water. Sometimes he puts his face right down and takes a big sip, sometimes he uses the toys as a cup and most of the time he steals the washcloth and slurps up the water that it holds. We've had to stop using baby wash in the water, naturally.


Ethan still likes the feel of a good remote control on his tongue.


He loves his push toys. They often go faster than him, but no matter.

Lest we forget that we are having another baby (and honestly, I often sort of do), coming soon are a few obligatory belly shots. Our ultrasound went well, the baby looks good and healthy and right on target for size. We are currently taking nominations for names since the only name we could possibly agree upon has already been used. We could probably use it again, but that might be weird.
