Ethan enjoyed his first stroll through the MSU Gardens, a place Josh and I often go when we need a touch of beauty and a reminder of what our yard will never ever look like. Ethan thought the gardens looked remarkably similar to the inside of his stroller.

We've been trying to help Ethan qualify for the Olympics so we are starting him on a vigorous routine under the activity center. He's quite skilled. He would probably win the Olympic staring contest hands down.

For five and a half weeks I wondered if I might be the world's worst mommy with the world's most scowl-ific baby. While Ethan still does a mighty nice scowl, he is also flexing his smile muscles! Ethan smiled and I cried. Now mixed with the "Mommy, you're a moron" looks are the "Mommy, I like you" looks! Brilliant!
"Mommy, you're a moron and you're scaring me."

"Mommy, you're okay for a newbie."

Ethan was born with a really nice head of hair. Now he just has a really nice head. It fell out somewhere between here and there and we're waiting for the regrowth. For now, he plays the part of grumpy old man very well.

Wow, he is growing up so fast! I love his little bald head! The last picture is my favorite. I cant wait to get home.
Love you!
I see that he got Great Grampa Hull's tongue sticking out talent! It's amazing how big he has gotten just from a little rain and warm weather! Looks like he'l be "knee high by the fourth of July!"
Little did you guys know that his dad's nickname when he was that age was Nikita. As in Nikita Kruchev (Russian prime minister in the 60-70's?) If your not familiar with history, google the name and you'll see the resemblance!
