Introducing...

Ethan Joshua Hull!

He arrived at 2:50 pm on Wednesday, May 21, after 13 hours of labor. He weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. and measured 20.5 inches.

I was supposed to be induced on Wednesday at 10 am due to low amniotic fluid, but Ethan had some other plans and I went into spontaneous labor late Tuesday evening. I had been at the hospital only a few hours earlier for testing and when the nurses saw me, they thought that I was going to be sent right back home. But I really was in labor and we moved to labor and delivery pretty quickly. I thought it was all pretty exciting until contractions hit every 2-3 minutes. Then the nurse came in and asked about the epidural and said the anesthesiologist was just outside and if I wanted to call him in, we could get things started. Ask me that in the middle of a contraction and see how fast I make that man come in. He was my best friend.

Ethan is healthy and doing very well with feedings. He looks exactly like his daddy (EXACTLY) and has the sweetest little face. So far, it looks like his hobbies are eating, sleeping and getting diaper changes.
